Now all the metros, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkota, Chennai and Bangalore, and NE states have been connected by an exclusive Freighter Aircraft. There is a lot of scope for logistics post through this new aircraft. A welcome step indeed in mail and logistics post conveyance. Can we replace the age old method of transportation of mails by rail? How long we can depend on our running sections in trains? The Chief Postmaster General, Karnataka Circle takes initiative to improve our mail conveyance through Contractual Mail Motor Service. This initiative aims at connecting all big towns and taluk head quarters by CMMS. This will ensure speedy conveyance of mails, pruning of unnecessary cost in mail processing and efficiency in mail delivery. These days when volume of mails is getting reduced due to increased use of electronic mode of communication, logistics post provides us tremendous potential for our sustenance. Logistics post will be our future hope.
